CANDLE

We want you to enjoy the ritual of lighting our candles, so here’s a little bit of candle tlc.

The most important burn for a candle is the first. Initially a candle should burn for at least two hours and no more than four. This enables the wax to melt evenly, creating a liquified pool that reaches the edges of the container and enables subsequent burns to be even and slow. Never light your candle for more than three hours.

Our cotton wicks are self trimming, but to minimise ash we suggest to trim cotton wicks just below the ash to remove it, relight and enjoy. Keep wicks trimmed no higher than 4mm, any higher may result in a poor burn.

Never move a lit candle; the containers get very hot. Movement may cause burning or wax spillage.

WICK TRIMMER

Directions for use:
Alway trim the wick to 4 to 5mm prior to each light, this will prevent sooting and provide the perfect size flame.
The wick trimmer is shaped with a dish like scissor to catch the debris and ensure that it doesn’t fall into the wax.
Never trim the wick when the flame is lit or just extinguished, always allow the candle to cool down completely.

Care advice:
To clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth.

All of our packaging is fully recyclable and plastic free.

Each of our candles are labelled using a compostable label. An accompanying candle care card and a swing tag on each product is produced using an eco-friendly FSC algae card that has a lovely speckled appearance, we print with soy inks, and finally fix the labelling with a white grosgrain ribbon.

Our grey gift box is made from a rigid recycled card, with a separate lid. Packed with eco-friendly, recyclable and biodegradable concertina paper to protect your order, we add the finishing touch with white grosgrain ribbon, and a pale sage green Belle Regali naturale monogram, wax seal.

We wrap your order with eco friendly, acid free tissue paper and a compostable label.

To ship we use recyclable boxes with biodegradable packing peanuts, and secure it with paper tape.
