Amyris
Originating from Haiti, Amyris is an evergreen tree with green leaves and clusters of small white flowers. Steam distilled using the bark to create the essential oil, it's then left for up to a year to allow the aroma to fully develop. Containing antiseptic, balsamic, emollient, regenerative and slight anti-inflammatory properties. It's great for stress, tension and is an all-round wonderfully relaxing essential oil.

Balsam of Peru
This wonderfully fragrant essential oil comes from an evergreen tree that is grown at high altitudes in El Salvador and wild harvested. The resin is extracted from the bark of the tree, cleaned and then filtered leaving the most amazing rich essential oil. It contains antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and calming properties. A very soothing oil, that works well for dry skin. The sweet, delicate aroma is soothing and can help in times of stress.

Black Pepper
Originating from India, this woody climbing vine produces peppercorn berries that have been used in Ayurvedic practices for centuries. Before the berries mature they are picked unripe and green, sun-dried and then steam distilled to produce the essential oil. It has excellent anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, and is known for soothing aches and pains as well as stimulating circulation. It is said to aid in the reduction of stress and anxiety. All in all, a very good general tonic for both mind and body.

Bergamot
These small yellow/ green citrus fruits are mainly grown in Southern Italy in Reggio de Calabria, or the nearby island of Sicily, however it is named after the beautiful northern Italian town of Bergamo. The rind of the fruit is used to extract the essential oil via cold press expression. Containing antibacterial, antiseptic, calmative and relaxing properties, it's a lovely, uplifting essential oil that provides relaxation and helps to ease stress

Cedarwood
Originating from Morocco, this an evergreen tree where both the bark and foliage are steam distilled to produce an essential oil. It has antibacterial,anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, regenerative and restorative properties. The aroma helps to promote calm, relaxation and focus, and is also excellent when used to detox the skin and draw out impurities and congestion. This wonderful oil helps to soothe irritation and regulate the natural oils and sebum production.

Geranium
Originating from Egypt, the delicate flowers, leaves and stalks are steam distilled to produce a stunning essential oil, that provides a wealth of properties such as antioxidants, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, astringent, restorative and regenerative. It is an all-round good tonic for the skin as it's very gentle and cleansing. In aromatherapy, it works very well in helping to relieve symptoms of stress, anxiety, fatigue and for those times when you're in need of a bit of positivity.

Ginger Root
Originating from China, ginger is a perennial herb where the roots are used to create essential oil via steam distillation. Containing high antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, it is good for muscular aches and pains due to its stimulating and warming properties, which also add a certainradiance to the skin. A very soothing oil that aids relaxation and is wonderfully uplifting for stress and anxiety, and of course it's also widely known for anti-nausea qualities. Its nickname is 'The Oil of Empowerment' which we love!

Green Mandarin
Originating from Italy, green mandarins are harvested prior to ripening. The green rind of the fruit is used to extract the essential oil via cold press expression. Rich in antioxidants, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, this rejuvenating oil also helps to boost circulation. A highly cleansing oil that is perfect for oily skin with a toning ability. It's a wonderfully uplifting oil.

Originating from Australia, the bell pepper shaped fruits and leaves are steam distilled to produce this essential oil. Neroli Light
Originating from Tunisia and named after the 17th century Princess Nerola of Italy, this beautiful oil is produced from the white blossom of the bitter orange tree via steam distillation, then blended with other natural oils to create the scent of Neroli. Pure Neroli essential oil is eye wateringly expensive due to its low yield; a lot of blossoms are required to produce one drop. This light version still offers the elegant qualities of the pure variety in that it is calming, relaxing and uplifting, with regenerative, restorative and antiseptic properties. Originating from Brazil, the orange rind of the fruit is used to extract the essential oil via cold press expression. Originating from Paraguay, also known as Holy Wood. The wood and bark from the tree are wild harvested and steam distilled to provide this wonderful essential oil.
